Understanding the market was crucial. I analyzed existing edible cookie dough brands to identify gaps and opportunities. The research revealed a trend towards nostalgic, comfort-food branding, but with a modern twist.

Key Insights:

  • Consumers seek safe-to-eat, egg-free cookie dough options.

  • There's a desire for nostalgic treats with contemporary packaging.

  • Convenience and portability are important for on-the-go snacking.

Design Direction:

Inspired by these insights, I aimed to design packaging that is:

  • Visually nostalgic yet modern.

  • Safe and informative, highlighting the edible nature of the dough.

  • Portable and user-friendly.

Branding & Visual Identity

The brand identity needed to evoke the fun and indulgence of eating cookie dough straight from the bowl. I chose a playful color palette and whimsical typography to reflect this.

Logo Design:

  • Hand-drawn lettering to convey a homemade feel.

  • Incorporation of cookie dough elements, like chocolate chips, into the design.

Color Palette:

  • Warm browns and creams to represent cookie dough.
